Entries received or post marked after 9/5/2025 will be place on the wait list.\nThis year’s Fall Foliage Rides will feature four full days of pleasure riding! Celebrate GMHA’s 100th anniversary\, on a ride through the beautiful Vermont landscape of meandering trails\, wooded paths and open fields with incredible vistas from hilltops offered on these rides. \nSet your holiday ride in motion with Thursday’s (9/25) “Trailer Ride Out”  departing from an offsite location (entries and parking are limited – please plan accordingly)  followed with three days of pleasure riding through Sunday (9/28) from the GMHA grounds. \nEnjoy the best time of year for trail riding in Vermont with your equine partner and human friends on the beautiful marked trails GMHA has to offer. \nBegin the day with  light breakfast fare and ride briefing. The trail is then open for riders to head out on either a short loop or long loop option. A pre-ordered lunch served at a scenic location along the way\, or back at GMHA. \nThere are all inclusive (stabling and meals)single & multiple-day ride options as well as “No Frill” rides (no stabling or meals). \n\nPre-Registration is required. This ride fills quickly. GMHA does not accept “Day of entries” for this ride. No entries after the closing date\, no exceptions.\nA wait list will be put in place once the ride fills. Riders will be notified via email that they have been placed on the waitlist.\nOnly complete entries will be accepted and processed (Includes payment &  equine health requirements – proof of current noggins & rabies vaccination)\nOne rider per horse (no double riding).  Everyone must wear an ASTM certified helmet with chin strap secured.\nEntries close September 11\, 2025 by 5pm (unless ride is capped)\nGMHA Pleasure Ride’s REFUND POLICY – If entry is withdrawn prior to the CLOSING date of September 11th by 5pm\, entry fee & stabling will be refunded minus a $30.00 office processing fee. (Both online or through USPS). \nJune 2nd-4th will be designated as a Dressage Clinic\, and June 4th-6th will be an Eventing Clinic encompassing all three phases of eventing. GMHA’s adult clinics offer participants the opportunity to work with world class clinicians bringing a wide range of experience for riders and horses. These clinics will provide riders wishing to refine and expand their horsemanship skills to gain a deeper understanding of their equine partner while developing techniques on the flat\, show jumping\, and on cross country. \nThis year’s clinicians include Tim Bourke\, Bobby Costello\, Diane Ritz\, Rebecca Vick\, and John Zopatti. \nSpaces are limited and early registration is encouraged!  Entries open on January 10\, 2025. Please carefully read the registration/entry form and sign up for either the Dressage Clinic or the Eventing Clinic. \nAs of 3/12/25 – BOTH clinics are full. If you wish to be placed on the wait list for either clinic\, you must fill out the registration form & submit. Should a space NOT open up you will be refunded all but the $30.00 processing fee. \n\nDressage Clinic participants – Arrival and check-in is on Sunday\, June 1st after 5 PM. DESCRIPTION:Event Details\n\n	\n		\n			Kick off the 100 year celebration of GMHA with the traditional \nMemorial Day Weekend Trail Ride\nAs of 5/15 the entries for this ride are closed\nThese Pleasure Rides on Saturday and Sunday depart from and return to the GMHA grounds. Each day will feature a marked trail through the beautiful landscape of Vermont in the spring-time through fields\, woods\, water crossings and of course\, hills with vast views. Short and long mileage options will be offered.
